Season 2

Season two begins moments after the explosive season one finale and the girls are the talk of the town. Surprises and challenges will be in store for each, and "A" may succeed in her quest. Emily, Hanna, Spencer, and Aria are crumbling under the constant pressure of A's relentless texts and the knowledge that A inexplicably knows every little detail of their lives, including their thoughts, and is watching and anticipating the girls' every move. Spencer's family is falling apart. Season 3

Five months following the discovery that Mona Vanderwaal was the elusive "A" that had been creatively and relentlessly tormenting the four main characters, Aria Montgomery, Spencer Hastings, Hanna Marin, and Emily Fields for the past year. The first half of the season addresses the issue of whether or not Garrett Reynolds actually killed or was involved in the murder of the girls' former friend and queen bee, Alison DiLaurentis and who killed Maya St. Germain in the season two finale, while the second half deals with the reveal of another "A" and the fallout while the mysterious Red Coat stalks the girls.

Season 4

The season continues from where it left off in the third-season finale, where the girls were rescued from the burning building by who they believe is Alison. The girls begin looking for answers that could lead to Alison's whereabouts while dealing with the aftermath of Detective Wilden's murder and "A" intervening in their personal lives.

Season 5

Following Alison DiLaurentis's shocking return to Rosewood after being presumed dead for two years, the Liars grapple with trust issues, fractured friendships, and the implications of her reappearance on their lives. Alison seeks to reclaim her place among them while facing suspicion over her role in previous events, including the disappearance of her mother, Jessica DiLaurentis, and other unsolved mysteries in the town.

Season 6

The girls may have gotten out of the Dollhouse but what happened to them during their time of captivity has lasting effects. With worried loved ones watching over them, the PLLs are home and trying to heal, with not much success. Even with suspected tormentor Andrew in custody, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer fear they are far from safe. Meanwhile, Alison must deal with her past indiscretions and her notoriety around Rosewood.

After Hanna's shocking abduction by "Uber A", the PLLs and company desperately race against the clock to save one of their own. The only way to do this is by handing over evidence of Charlotte's real murderer to "Uber A". In order to do so, the girls must decide what blatant lines they are willing to cross that they have never breached before; and once they cross that line, there is no turning back.
